Requirement / Problem Statement
At times during our final year projects or during internship days during college days, or even at work places we end up falling short of that little extra storage space in our pen drive. We always moan and cut a frowning face when we cannot get the things done due to shortage of space in our pen drives. Carrying hard disks or carrying a USB cable which could transfer data to cell phone becomes clumsy and uncomfortable.
So to overcome this situation, we can actually think of a set of USBs, say 2 to 3 USBs linked and attached to each other in series, so that each successive USB’s can be used when we fall short of shortage space in the first pen drive
Conceptual Design
The objective is to have a device that would house 2 to 3 USBs in series while itself acting as one. If it would be designed in such a way that each USB could be attached to the back of each other, we would have a chain of USBs, which could be removed and used as when required.
Working of the proposed Design
The chain or series system of individual USBs attached to the back or any provision made to plug another USB into one, then we could have a set of extra USBs handy. If the 1st USB can accommodate 2nd USB, and 2nd can accommodate 3rd USB and so on, we could have a handy number of USBs that could be carried easily and use it at times when we fall short of storage space
